About The Position

The Assistant Dental Office Manager, called an Operations Lead at Aspen Dental, performs daily front-office tasks and duties to help create lasting impressions and build trust and loyalty with patients. The role reports to the Manager and includes an eight-week training program. The position supports patient care and practice operations in collaboration with the dental team and under the direction of the Manager.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
Analytical thinking and an emphasis on using data.
Organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate patient service in accordance with patient needs, company policies and procedures, government regulations, and dental board standards.
Collaborate with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
Consult with patients on treatment options provided by the clinical team, and verify insurance payments and collections while ensuring high-quality care.
Under the Manager’s direction, supervise and reinforce the daily tasks and priorities of the non-clinical team.
Review day-to-day data to evaluate its impact on the practice.
Oversee scheduling and confirmation of patient appointments.
Verify insurance payments and collections, balance nightly deposits, and process credit card payments.
Perform additional tasks assigned by the Manager.
