About The Position

At Aspen Dental, the Assistant Dental Office Manager, called an Operations Lead, supports daily front-office operations and helps create lasting impressions and build trust and loyalty with patients. The role reports to the Manager and includes an eight-week training program. The position provides an opportunity to contribute to the community and positively affect patients’ lives. Aspen Dental-branded practices are independently owned and operated by licensed dentists and receive non-clinical business support from Aspen Dental Management, Inc. Duties may vary by location.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
Analytical thinking and an emphasis on leveraging data.
Organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

Provide superior patient service with compassion and care, following patient needs, company policies and procedures, government regulations, and dental board standards.
Work collaboratively with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
Consult with patients about treatment options provided by the clinical team and verify insurance payments and collections to support high-quality care.
Under the Manager’s direction, supervise and reinforce the daily tasks and priorities of the non-clinical team.
Review day-to-day data to evaluate its impact on the practice.
Oversee scheduling and confirmation of patient appointments.
Verify insurance payments and collections, balance nightly deposits, and process credit card payments.
Perform additional tasks assigned by the Manager.
