WEIS is looking for a passionate and team-oriented Assistant Deli Manager who is committed to treating associates with respect, understanding, and appreciation. This role is responsible for assisting the Deli Manager in the day-to-day functions of deli operations, including merchandising, ad execution, associate engagement, and customer service. The ideal candidate will ensure fresh quality merchandise, coordinate sales and merchandising plans, monitor competitor activity, oversee department inventories, and manage labor costs. This position also involves training and developing associate talent, auditing department procedures, and enforcing sanitation and safety regulations. The Assistant Deli Manager will supervise associates in the department in partnership with or absence of the department manager.
