  • Operate kitchen and deli equipment (e.g., slicers, ovens, fryers, scales)
  • Food safety certification
  • Must comply with grooming and dress code standards
  • May be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Good attendance is required

Responsibilities

  • Maintain enthusiastic customer service and awareness.
  • Assist customers with product suggestions, special orders, and food preparation.
  • Handle customer complaints and escalate to Store Director as needed.
  • Support department operations including food preparation, cooking, and serving.
  • Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of deli area and equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain proper temperatures during food preparation, display, and storage.
  • Assist with scheduling, supervising, training, and assigning duties to department employees.
  • Prepare and maintain sales and inventory reports; participate in physical inventory every 4 weeks.
  • Control inventory levels to ensure product quality, freshness, and compliance with company directives.
  • Implement promotional and seasonal displays and ensure compliance with labeling laws and company policies.
