Requirements

Management of department inventory, pricing, merchandising, and labor and safety rules.
Ordering products and supplies and scheduling work to maximize sales and gross profit.
Training new department employees on equipment in the Deli-Bakery.
Supervising employees in correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage and rotation of merchandise, and building of displays.
Ensuring employees meet safety standards for operation.
Adhering to strict standards of sanitation, food safety and personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

Managing department inventory, pricing, merchandising, and labor and safety rules.
Ordering products and supplies and scheduling work to maximize sales and gross profit.
Ensuring that all new department employees receive proper training and safety instruction on all equipment in the Deli-Bakery, and proper supervision to ensure correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage and rotation of merchandise, and building of displays.
Responsible for a variety of other tasks in the store.
Making sure that all employees are meeting safety standards for operation.
Adhering to strict standards of sanitation, food safety and personal hygiene.
