Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year of credentialing or onboarding experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with data systems or credentialing software required.
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with sending credentials file for completion and ensuring file completion within time periods specified.
  • Assists with preparing onboarding file for completion and ensuring file completion within time periods specified.
  • Assists with pre-orientation communications to new hires, managers and stakeholders, ensure completion of new hire onboarding documents, notify IT to initiate provisioning process, and partner with the Education & Training team for a smooth hand off for orientation on day one.
  • Can assist with the new hire’s Onboarding in-person appointment; process and monitor results for state background check requirements (BCI/FBI), collect necessary paperwork, and communicate process next steps.
  • Provide additional support for the I-9 record retention process.
  • Responsible for ensuring all provider licenses, board certifications, Deas, and other related certifications are updated every 120 days in accordance with all requirements.
  • Responsible for ensuring all providers CAQH accounts are updated every 120 days in accordance with all requirements.
  • Responsible for ensuring CAQH provider accounts are created, maintained, and terminated when necessary.
  • Monitors the initial, reappointment and exportable process for all medical staff, professional staff, and delegated providers, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies (Joint Commission, NCQA, URAC, CMS, CARF, HRSA, federal and state), as well as Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, policies and procedures, and delegated contracts.
