About The Position

The Assistant Controller is responsible for accounting, financial reporting, and treasury management at the AHEAD Foundry facility. The role leads month-end close activities and supports financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, inventory controls, and annual audits. It also manages the Foundry treasury function and participates in the company’s weekly cash forecasting process. AHEAD builds platforms for digital business by combining cloud infrastructure, automation and analytics, and software delivery. Requirements

At least 5 years in an accounting role.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements.
Demonstrated ability to interface with management levels across functions.

Responsibilities

Lead month-end closing activities, including reviewing journal entries, conducting variance analysis, completing balance sheet reconciliations and audit schedules, and distributing Foundry financial statements.
Partner with the Director of Financial Reporting and other leaders to ensure the accuracy of Foundry revenue, cost of sales, and inventory balances.
Support analysis of Foundry profitability, monthly forecasting, and annual budgets.
Maintain appropriate controls for inventory and other assets at the Foundry facility.
Lead the annual audit process and direct staff accordingly.
Manage the treasury function at Foundry and participate in the weekly cash forecasting process.
Review the adequacy of the accounts receivable allowance and recommend accounts for write-off to the VP of Accounting.
Perform special projects to help the department and company achieve their goals and objectives.
Perform other job duties as assigned.
