About The Position

We’re looking for an Assistant Controller who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative, client‑focused environment. As an Assistant Controller, you will lead and execute the month‑end close process for a portfolio of clients, including reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and financial analysis. You’ll work closely with your team’s Controller and Staff Accountant to ensure high‑quality, timely, and accurate financial deliverables. This is a full‑cycle accounting role where you’ll have direct interaction with clients, helping them solve problems and navigate their financial operations with clarity. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 3+ years of general ledger accounting experience
  • Experience with month-end close
  • Experience with financial statement preparation
  • Strong Excel skills required
  • Solid understanding of GAAP
  • Experience managing Full Cycle Accounting Processes
  • Tech-savvy with experience across various financial applications
  • Able to work across multiple accounting systems
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly professional, client-service oriented, and detail-driven

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with QuickBooks, Great Plains and other accounting software a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the month-end close process for a portfolio of clients
