Requirements
- Complete understanding of accounting principles.
- Ability to facilitate month/year end close process.
- Ability to read professional documents (invoices, various financial statements, emails).
- Ability to correspond in an informative and professional manner.
- Ability to calculate financial amounts and indicators.
- English language fluency, verbal and written.
- Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.
Nice To Haves
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting and two (2) or more years of experience in an accounting environment; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered
Responsibilities
- Provide support to our sister company Bridger Pipeline LLC
- Enters data into accounting systems.
- Inputs journal entries.
- Performs balance sheet reconciliations, financial preparation and reporting.
- Builds customer reports.
- Researches and analyzes problems.
- Prepares/reviews routine reports i.e. sales tax.
- Performs transactional accounting entries.
- Validates data against system reports.
- Verifies that controls and processes have been followed.
- Ensures all entries are adequately supported, as per procedures
