About The Position

The Assistant Controller works closely with experienced CFO professionals, investment managers, and fund clients to deliver financial, operational, and reporting support to sophisticated investment structures. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial services, focused on fund accounting or alternative investments, including client-facing experience.
Strong knowledge of GAAP.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in financial software and systems.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Nice To Haves

Experience with financial software such as Power BI and Adaptive.

Responsibilities

Support CFO clients with fund operations, investment accounting, and portfolio reporting across alternative investment structures.
Monitor and reconcile investment transactions, working with portfolio managers, counterparties, and service providers to support day-to-day operations.
Assist with capital calls, treasury management, investor reporting, and other investment fund lifecycle activities.
Review fund valuations, performance reporting, and NAV calculations to ensure accuracy and high-quality client deliverables.
Collaborate with clients, auditors, and internal teams on year-end audits, tax reporting, process improvements, and strategic projects.
