Assistant Contract Technical Representative
About The Position
CSA is seeking an Assistant Contract Technical Representative (ACTR) to support operations at Naval Station Great Lakes for the Naval Education and Training Command (NETC). The position assists with managing and supporting Navy and Marine Corps Internet (NMCI) and Next Generation Network (NGEN) services. It is a full-time, on-premises role in Great Lakes, Illinois, requiring experience in IT service delivery within a government or military environment. The ACTR provides direct support to the NETC Contract Technical Representative (CTR), including handling service records and task order modifications, processing service requests, supporting user account provisioning and IT troubleshooting, and verifying completion of contractor work.
Requirements
- Must possess and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Security+ certification or an equivalent bachelor's degree.
- Three years of relevant experience in IT work, data analysis, statistical analysis, problem solving, and business process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Create service records and Task Order modifications in the Navy Enterprise Tool (NET) in support of the NETC Contract Technical Representative.
- Submit Move, Add, Change (MAC) requests and Delivery Requests, and initiate NET buildouts as required.
- Assist with employee check-in and check-out processes, including creating, transferring, and provisioning NMCI and Office 365 user accounts and designated NGEN IT solutions.
- Support the computer hardware refresh cycle, respond to user assistance requests, troubleshoot IT issues, and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
- Conduct periodic physical inventories of ordered services and validate, reconcile, and update service records in NET to ensure data accuracy.
- After MAC requests are completed, verify that the NMCI contractor has fully executed all tasks by checking HP Service Manager and Active Directory.
