About The Position

Harmon, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Construction Project Manager for a temporary, 18-month onsite assignment in Albany, NY. This hands-on role involves direct client interaction and leverages curtainwall or glazing experience. The position offers an excellent opportunity to gain field experience, deepen industry knowledge, and accelerate career growth while working closely with project and field leadership. You will partner with project leaders, field teams, and clients to ensure process accuracy, manage key project tasks, and support financial performance.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in project management or a related field
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Willingness to relocate to Albany, NY for 18 months

Nice To Haves

Construction experience preferred
Curtainwall or façade industry experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Supporting project scheduling, tracking progress, and maintaining accurate documentation
Assisting with procurement, purchase orders, and project buyouts
Monitoring jobsite progress through reporting, and status updates
Interfacing directly with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to communicate project updates and support strong relationships
Attending and participating in project meetings to drive alignment across teams
Supporting financial tracking, forecasting, and reporting
Partnering with field teams, manufacturing, and external partners to ensure quality and alignment
Making timely, informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
Identifying risks and solving problems proactively
Supporting safety and project compliance
