About The Position

CEG Solutions is a design-build firm delivering deep energy retrofits and infrastructure modernization projects for federal, state, local, and institutional clients. We transform existing buildings into smart, high-performing facilities through comprehensive mechanical, electrical, and plumbing upgrades — reducing energy use, cutting carbon emissions, and extending the life of critical infrastructure. Working primarily through Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs) and similar performance-based delivery models, our teams take projects from initial audit through design, construction, and long-term measurement and verification. The Role: As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll work alongside seasoned PMs to deliver complex MEP projects — managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships from kickoff through commissioning. You'll learn the ESPC delivery model end-to-end, sharpen your technical chops on real systems, and take on more ownership as you grow.

Requirements

2–3 years of experience in construction project management or project engineering
Bachelor's degree preferred in engineering, construction management, or related field (relevant technical experience considered in lieu)
Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Primavera, Procore, or similar)
Working knowledge of MEP, HVAC, solar, BAS, or other building systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A self-starter with sharp problem-solving instincts and great attention to detail
