About The Position

The Assistant Community Manager is responsible for leasing and supporting operations management at Davis Development’s luxury communities. The role focuses on occupancy, customer service, marketing, leasing and renewal processes, resident relations, accurate records, and maintaining an excellent community appearance and resident experience.

Requirements

• One or more years of Assistant Property Manager experience.
• Strong sales, marketing, and customer service experience.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Ability to establish collaborative working relationships with individuals of varying seniority and with teams inside and outside the organization.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain a calm demeanor.

Nice To Haves

• Lease-up experience in luxury communities.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Help the community reach assigned occupancy rates through customer service, marketing efforts, and resident events.
• Assist with leasing and renewal contracts and ensure documentation is accurate and compliant.
• Greet and tour prospective residents, explain qualifications, and prepare leasing files.
• Manage applications, rents, and delinquencies, including non-payment legal requirements.
• Verify the accuracy of Yardi records and reporting.
• Assist with resident issues while maintaining the Davis brand.
• Conduct community walk-throughs and ensure work orders are completed promptly to maintain the community’s appearance and resident experience.
