About The Position
The assistant coach responsibilities include, but are not limited to: recruiting, on court-practice and contest coaching, and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Anderson University is a NCAA Division III institution and a member of the Heartland Athletic Conference.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelors degree
- Proven ability to successfully recruit student-athletes
- Commitment to and ability to work with a diverse student population
- Belief in and commitment to Jesus Christ and the Christian faith as interpreted through the historic witness of the Bible and the ongoing ministry of the Holy Spirit
- Vitality of Christian experience that is maturing in insight and application
- Meet University lifestyle expectations
Nice To Haves
- Previous coaching or playing experience at the college level
- Commitment to the NCAA Division III philosophy
