About The Position

The Assistant Coach, Men's Golf instructs and teaches athletes in the fundamentals of golf, coaches technique and strategy. This role assists in the selection of team members and recruiting activities in compliance with conference, NCAA, and OSU rules and regulations. The Assistant Coach also aids the head coach in coordinating administrative aspects of program management, including scheduling competitions and practices, travel plans, and equipment. Additionally, this position monitors the academic progress of student athletes, audits information from academic support services, and ensures compliance with conference, NCAA, and University rules and regulations. This position operates within a creative and collaborative team environment that embraces change and encourages innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Coaching experience and extensive knowledge of the sport of golf.
• Extensive travel during recruiting process.

Responsibilities
