About The Position

The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for an Assistant Coach to provide direct and independent coaching for student-athletes who compete in Division I, NCAA Women’s Lacrosse for the University of Florida. Responsible for promoting academic excellence as well as the assessment of recruitment or prospective student-athletes, which includes creating individualized development plans for each student-athlete and contributing to overall game and match plans. Other responsibilities include media relations, inventory and purchasing, facilitating team meetings, budget line-item management, and other administrative duties as assigned. This position requires the incumbent to be an organized individual with strong administrative, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills; engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds and with high energy, intense personalities; and work a non-standard work week which will include evenings, weekends, holidays, and extensive overnight travel. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience coaching at the collegiate or professional level
  • Knowledgeable of NCAA rules and regulations
