About The Position
Duke University is seeking a qualified candidate for the Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach Position. This position will assist the Head Coach with the organizing, planning and coaching of the Women's Lacrosse team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Prior coaching experience preferably at the Division I level required
- A commitment to knowing and complying with NCAA, ACC, and institutional rules.
- Ability to coach, work with a highly motivated student-athlete population
- Excellent command of and capacity to teach high level lacrosse skills across positions.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Knowledge of intercollegiate sports operations
- Ability to work in a highly dynamic and inclusive university setting
Responsibilities
- Assist the coaching staff in all phases of a highly competitive Division I lacrosse program including, but not limited to: recruiting, on-field coaching/training; organization of practice/game strategies; scouting; film review; monitoring of academic progress; administrative tasks and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.
