About The Position
Portsmouth Middle School is seeking an Assistant Coach for the Girls Basketball team for the 2026-2027 Winter Season. The season is expected to run from approximately November 30, 2026, to February 12, 2027, with a potential for extension. This is a stipend position.
Requirements
- NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching (includes RIIL Rules and Regulations Test)
- Valid First Aid certification (renew every 2 years)
- Valid CPR certification (in-person only, renew every 2 years)
- NFHS Concussion certification (renew annually)
- NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest certification (renew annually)
- NFHS Protecting Students from Abuse certification
Responsibilities
- Assist in coaching the Girls Basketball team during the winter season.
- Ensure all coaching certifications are up-to-date and attached to the application.
