Assistant Coach, Club Hockey
About The Position
The Men’s Club Hockey Assistant Coach works with the Head Coach to provide supervision and effective leadership to the ice hockey club sport program. Responsibilities include fostering skill development and teamwork among students; promoting and upholding institute policies and procedures; and initiating activities in support of the sports club. The assistant coach will assist with team organization and required paperwork for ACHA Division 3 membership. This position collaborates with the head coach to provide skill and developmental support of the team. A member of the coaching staff is required to be at all practices & games.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- USA Hockey Coaching Level 1 Certification (or in progress)
- Knowledge of Skill Development
- Ability to work with and develop a variety of experience and skill levels
- Must attend all practices and games

- The minimum assistant coach rate for this role is $2,500 per season.
