About The Position
An athletic coach with Douglas County School District is responsible for organizing and implementing a successful program. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to develop a competitive program committed to student-athletes’ academic achievement, strong fundamental skills, and sportsmanship. The successful candidate will collaborate with administrators, teachers, coaches, sponsors, students, parents, and community members to help the school represent the community with pride. The position is seasonal and located at Chaparral High School. Previous coaching experience is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
