About The Position
Boys & Girls Clubs of Skagit County is looking for an Assistant Club Director to help lead their licensed preschool program at the Anacortes Family Center. This is a hands-on leadership position where the Assistant Club Director will work alongside the Club Director to create a safe, nurturing environment where children thrive, families feel welcome, and employees have the support they need to succeed. The role requires adaptability, resilience, and the ability to shift priorities. The Assistant Club Director will coach teachers, assist with program operations, support licensing requirements, help families, and step into classrooms when needed. The position emphasizes compassionate leadership, supporting the team, and fostering growth for children, families, and employees.
Requirements
- Washington State Center Director qualifications
- Qualifying Early Childhood Education coursework
- Experience in a licensed early learning program
