About The Position
The Assistant Clinical Manager for the Neuro/Stroke Unit at Henry Ford Health’s Macomb Hospital plans, organizes, and directs patient care services within the department. The role supports the Director/Nurse Manager with budget management, quality improvement programs, staffing, regulatory compliance, and policy development. The Assistant Clinical Manager helps promote high-quality care and the professional growth of the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Two years of RN experience.
- Current RN license in the State of Michigan.
- BCLS/ACLS certification per unit standards.
- Certifications appropriate for the specific unit.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and direct the provision of patient care services within the department.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring budgets, quality improvement programs, and staffing levels.
- Support the establishment and achievement of departmental goals and objectives, and support regulatory compliance.
- Help evaluate and discipline personnel to maintain high standards of care and professionalism.
