About The Position

Center for Physical Therapy and Exercise (CPTE) has been providing superior physical therapy care to Southern New Hampshire for over 35 years, with eight outpatient locations. CPTE is dedicated to fostering professional development, encouraging innovation, and helping team members achieve their career goals in a supportive, collaborative environment. The company is seeking an Assistant Clinic Director to join its team in Merrimack, NH. This role is for a Physical Therapist passionate about patient care and ready to grow into a leadership position. As Assistant Clinic Director, the individual will balance patient care, leadership, and operations to support a high-performing clinic and an exceptional patient experience.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Active state PT license in good standing (or eligibility for licensure)
  • 2+ years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic clinic setting
  • Strong clinical judgment with a patient-centered, evidence-based approach
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with effective communication skills
  • Ownership, accountability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Motivation for professional growth and contributing to clinic success

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care with a full, productive caseload
  • Complete timely, accurate documentation aligned with compliance standards
  • Address patient concerns proactively to drive strong outcomes and satisfaction
  • Participate in quality initiatives such as chart reviews and outcome tracking
  • Collaborate with referral sources and providers to ensure continuity of care
  • Support efficient clinic flow, scheduling, and patient access
  • Contribute to key performance metrics (visits, units, arrival rate, etc.)
  • Utilize tools and technology to improve documentation and workflow efficiency
  • Assist with maintaining clinic standards, safety, and organization
  • Support clinic growth through patient experience and relationship building
  • Participate in community outreach and local engagement efforts
  • Contribute ideas that enhance clinic performance and reputation
  • Collaborate with PTs, PTAs, aides, and front office team to support clinic success
  • Contribute to a positive, team-first environment focused on growth and accountability
  • Support mentorship, onboarding, and knowledge-sharing across the team
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing communication
