Requirements

  • The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher
  • Commercial Certificate or FAA ATP with appropriate endorsements
  • Experience leading and managing a team
  • Experience with Project Management or similar activity
  • Appropriate regulatory certification and/or license required.

  • Directly participates in establishing and administering multiple projects
  • Develops and administers budgets, schedules and performance standards

Responsibilities

  • Operates aircraft and manages test pilots performing aircrew duties, including activities to prepare for and conduct safe test flight operations; applies crew resource management principles to the operation of aircraft
  • Performs and manages activities to plan, conduct and evaluate ground and test flights
  • Leads aircrew activities to support design efforts.
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Manages, develops, trains and evaluates test pilots
