About The Position

Mathnasium is seeking a responsible and ambitious leader to help build a strong local business serving San Clemente, Dana Point, and Laguna Niguel. The ideal candidate is passionate about self-development, math education, and working with children. The Assistant Center Manager's primary role is to support the Center Manager in sales, education, and administrative tasks. This position includes extensive leadership and management training, focusing on developing the operations of a learning center through instructional leadership, parent communication, staff management, sales, marketing, and effective administration. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership, entrepreneurial, and organizational skills, along with an enthusiastic and approachable personality.

• Foundational math skills through Algebra I

• Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work

• Support the Center Manager in all operational functions
• Manage a team of Instructors to deliver appropriate instruction
• Provide superior customer service that results in student retention
• Create a fun learning environment that inspires student confidence
• Assess and diagnose educational needs of students
• Train and model appropriate instructor/student interactions
• Foster collaborative relationships with local schools and organizations
• Present a compelling message to parents that results in student enrollment
