About The Position
Mathnasium is a math-only supplementary learning center that uses the Mathnasium Method, individual curricula, and specific teaching constructs to provide customized learning plans for students with a range of math abilities. The Lake Forest area center is seeking an Associate Center Director to help oversee center operations, work with students and parents, and manage a team of Instructors. The role calls for strong leadership, entrepreneurial, and organizational skills to support center operations through sales, instructional leadership, parent communication, staff management, and administration. After intensive training, the Associate Center Director is expected to perform Center Director duties and become a Center Director within a few months.
Requirements
- Proven leadership skills and experience in a management or supervisory role.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and manage time effectively.
- Driven, detail-oriented, and of exemplary character.
- Strong math skills through Algebra I.
Nice To Haves
- Previous sales experience.
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience.
- Strong math skills in high-school-level mathematics.
Responsibilities
- Present a polished and compelling sales message to parents to encourage student enrollment.
- Administer the Mathnasium curriculum by assessing and diagnosing students, developing learning plans, and documenting progress.
- Manage the student learning environment and daily session activities.
- Manage a team of Instructors and ensure instruction aligns with Mathnasium methodology.
- Communicate regularly with parents.
- Provide superior customer service to support student retention.
- Help oversee center operations and administration.
