About The Position

Join Butterfly Effects as an Assistant Center Director for our Lynnhaven Center in Virginia Beach. This role is for a passionate BCBA seeking a rewarding career where their expertise drives real, lasting change for children with autism spectrum disorder. Butterfly Effects is a BCBA-led organization dedicated to empowering BCBAs with unmatched support, professional growth, and a family-centric approach. Led by Dr. Steve Woolf, PhD, BCBA-D (President) and Molly McGinnis, M.Ed., BCBA (Vice President of Clinical Services), the organization prioritizes BCBA success to focus on making a socially meaningful change in the lives of children and families. They are a fully accredited BHCOE organization upholding BACB guidelines and prioritizing meaningful supervision, family involvement, and evidence-based ABA, with no rigid quotas. Each market has a locally or regionally based clinical director for real-time guidance and collaboration. BCBAs have clinical autonomy to design customized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs, with full access to tools, resources, and interdisciplinary collaboration. There are stable growth paths to Assistant Regional Director, Center Director, and Regional Director as the company expands nationwide. There are no non-compete clauses.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active BCBA certification from the BACB.
  • Passion for working with children and families affected by autism spectrum disorder.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee RBTs and BTs to ensure consistent, high-quality ABA service delivery.
  • Perform functional behavior assessments, develop individualized treatment goals, and create evidence-based intervention plans.
  • Lead monthly caregiver training sessions to build long-term family capacity.
  • Collaborate with therapists, educators, and other professionals for holistic client outcomes.

  • Base Salary: $100,000 - $105,000
  • Performance Bonus: Quarterly incentives up to $12,000 annually
  • Total Potential: Up to $117,000
