About The Position

As an Assistant Category Manager, you’ll be part of our team working as a Remote employee. You’ll get to assist in managing enterprise solutions across the DEWALT portfolio. Responsible for driving margin growth, portfolio and brand optimization and strategy through best-in-class analytics, insights, and reporting. Guide market pricing and margin expectations. Support budget process with tracking and providing inputs for budget allocation decisions made by more senior team members. Build category financial P&L forecast on a bi-annual basis to analyze core and NPD product assortment and margin mix for a 3-year horizon. Understand the competitive product assortment, trends in the industry & commercial environment, and translate gaps into opportunities for growth. Analyze and define our product range by brand and retail channel. Partner with pricing team to establish market-based pricing for NPD and Core SKUs annually and quantify financial impact of any proposed pricing changes at the portfolio and customer account level. Provide strategic counsel to cross-functional partners in regard to category strategy, pricing, product assortment, margin and growth expectations, and product launch plans.
