About The Position

The Assistant Caregiver supports residents in Memory Care, Assisted Living, or both. The role may involve non-hands-on assistance, transporting residents around the community, and responding promptly and appropriately to emergency calls, resident or visitor requests, and environmental hazards. This is a full-time, hourly position in the Resident Care department.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet all state educational requirements for the position.
• CPR certification.
• If not certified, must be able to obtain certification within 30 days of hire, if required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• May provide non-hands-on assistance to residents in Memory Care, Assisted Living, or both.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
