Bilingual Assistant Care Manager - Omaha

Caring For All•Omaha, NE
•Onsite

About The Position

At Caring for People Services, the Assistant Care Manager supports the Care Manager in coordinating high-quality, compassionate, non-medical home care services for clients of all ages. The role assists with client care coordination, caregiver supervision, scheduling, documentation, training, and communication with clients, families, caregivers, healthcare providers, and payer sources. It also serves as a role model and mentor for agency caregivers. This is not a regularly scheduled direct-care position, but the Assistant Care Manager must be able to provide services in a client’s home during emergencies or other urgent situations. Temporary direct-care coverage may be assigned when a significant scheduling gap cannot be filled until an appropriate caregiver is hired or assigned. The position works under the direction of the Care Manager and does not independently assume full responsibility for a Care Manager’s caseload unless specifically assigned and authorized as their designee. The role may provide interim oversight of a client and caregiver caseload as business needs arise. This is an in-office position in Omaha, with travel to clients’ homes. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with an unpaid one-hour lunch break. The position participates in an assigned on-call rotation and may involve occasional work outside normal business hours. Duties may change based on client, agency, and regulatory needs.
