Assistant Cafe Manager
About The Position
Common Man Roadside is HIRING an Assistant Café Manager for our Hooksett Welcome Centers, located on I-93! Come work for a great New Hampshire company in this fun, fast-paced, and unique location! The Assistant Café Manager contributes to the success of the café by assisting in day-to-day operations. You will use your knowledge and strengths to help the barista team grow, to help create and maintain a better guest-first culture every shift. This is a working management role- our managers work on the floor and prepare customer orders, offer hands-on training, guidance, and development of staff, and assist customers.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years café experience
- Must be able to obtain/maintain relevant certifications, including ServSafe
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, kneel, squat, bend and reach
- Must be able to lift/ carry packages up to 50 pounds
Nice To Haves
- 1 year management experience preferred
- No experience necessary, we will train the right individuals!
Responsibilities
- Overseeing shift operations and daily tasks
- Ordering and inventory management
- Daily paperwork, reporting, and logs
- Food and drink preparation, safety, and sanitation
