About The Position

The Assistant Buyer's role is to gain an understanding of the video and audio landscape and negotiation process. This includes marketplace trends and a holistic top-line view of all video and audio platforms including AM/FM radio, digital audio, linear television and connected TV.

Requirements

• 4 year college degree
• Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint and Strata View & SBMS
• Detail oriented, strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, good communication skills, ability to recognize problems & identify solutions, willingness to learn & grow

Responsibilities

• Assist Activation team with day-to-day administrative duties.
• Responsible for post log conversion and post reporting analytics.
• Ordering & confirming orders, handling makegoods, monitoring placement of scheduled spots, maintaining added value and billing reconciliation.
• Learn & understand media terminology.
• Review & understand buying guideline (goals & objectives) with buyer.
• Implement work-related goals established by buyer/brand team on behalf of clients.
• Establish & maintain business relationships with vendor partners.
• Maintain accurate buy files with financial information to align with buying system.
• Assume buying responsibilities from pre-buy to post buy in small markets/on accounts.
