About The Position

The Assistant Brand Manager will support the strategic development, commercialization, and day-to-day management of the L’il Critters brand, including new product launches, packaging designs, licensing partnerships, and more. This role blends brand strategy, operations, analytics, product commercialization, and cross-functional leadership to drive growth and profitability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 2+ Years in Marketing (CPG, OTC, Cosmetics, Vitamins) preferred
  • Strong project management skills and communication skills (written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal)
  • Familiarity with common consumer marketing research tools and techniques such as Nielsen or IRI data
  • Analytic & strategic thinking along with financial planning experience and creative thinking
  • Ability to understand how to identify/interpret trends
  • Problem solving/solution-oriented mindset
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills is a must

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of annual brand plans to drive growth and profitability for L’il Critters
  • Develop and enforce brand guidelines across all facets of marketing
  • Maintain brand price lists and internal systems with accurate SKU information
  • Manage product launches, from ideation to commercialization, including new item setup in internal systems and retailer portals, packaging, pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategy
  • Build and manage cost of goods pricing spreadsheets; analyze margins and profitability
  • Support the development of sales sell-in materials including line review presentations and product spec sheets to support retail expansion and distribution gains
  • Lead cross-functional coordination across COGS, procurement, regulatory, operations, inventory planning, and sales teams
  • Conduct sales analysis using POS, Nielsen, and internal data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Assist in monthly sales forecasting and inventory planning to ensure proper in-stock levels
  • Perform competitive analysis and monitor industry trends within kids vitamins
  • Review promotional programs to ensure alignment with financial objectives
  • Manage marketing content (social, website, digital assets) to ensure alignment with brand strategy
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with licensors including product updates, compliance with licensor guidelines, new item development, artwork/marketing approvals, royalty reporting and sales forecasting in licensor portals
  • Provide quarterly business review updates to licensors with information on performance of licensed business and key category dynamics
  • May assist in other activities including shopper, coupons, display support, etc. as needed
