About The Position

The Assistant Brand Manager - Digital Marketing & Advertising supports the planning, coordination and execution of Milwaukee Tool Canada's digital marketing, advertising and public relations initiatives. Working closely with the Brand Manager, this role manages multiple marketing projects, collaborates with cross-functional teams and external partners, and contributes to integrated campaigns that strengthen brand awareness, support commercialization and drive business growth. The successful candidate is organized, adaptable and proactive, with a passion for digital marketing and brand storytelling. This role provides the opportunity to build expertise across digital marketing, advertising, public relations, influencer marketing and campaign management while contributing to Milwaukee Tool Canada's continued growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in digital marketing, advertising, public relations or brand marketing.
  • Experience coordinating integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional marketing channels.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media and public relations principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities.
  • Experience working with external agencies, media partners, influencers or vendors.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Adaptable, collaborative and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience with CRM, marketing automation, analytics or social media management platforms is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the planning and execution of integrated digital marketing campaigns, including website initiatives, email marketing, lead generation, SEO/SEM, paid advertising, product launches, trade shows, contests and promotional programs.
  • Develop print and digital advertising assets across trade publications, digital media and integrated marketing campaigns in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external agency partners.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media, agency and vendor partners, coordinating project timelines, deliverables and ongoing communications.
  • Contribute to the execution of annual marketing plans, campaign calendars and advertising initiatives aligned with business priorities.
  • Coordinate public relations, brand ambassador and influencer initiatives, including media outreach, product seeding, relationship management and campaign execution.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, partnership opportunities and recommendations that strengthen Milwaukee Tool's market presence.
  • Coordinate the execution of Milwaukee's branded merchandise program, including product sourcing, co-branding, quality assurance and internal marketing initiatives while ensuring alignment with brand standards.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated marketing initiatives that support commercialization objectives, customer engagement and business growth.
  • Monitor and analyze digital marketing performance, including SEO/SEM, paid advertising, social media engagement and campaign metrics, providing recommendations to optimize future initiatives.
  • Prepare presentations, campaign summaries and business updates for internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate budget administration, purchase orders, invoice processing and vendor payments, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
