The Assistant Branch Manager (ABM) is an entry-level financial services role with a path to Branch Manager. The role begins with an 18–24 month paid, on-the-job training program covering branch operations and management. After training, the ABM is assigned a branch to manage upon promotion to Branch Manager. Promotion typically requires relocation; a full relocation package is provided for moves more than 50 miles. The ABM helps customers meet financial goals by identifying their needs, recommending consumer loan and voluntary insurance product solutions, educating them about lending services and credit improvement, assisting with loan applications, and making payment reminder calls. The position also supports branch operations and sales goals by evaluating loan applications, conducting risk analysis, making credit decisions, administering loan closings, processing insurance claims, and assisting the Branch Manager with recruiting, training, and plans to meet sales goals. The position is 100% onsite.
