About The Position

Republic Finance is hiring an entry-level Assistant Branch Manager (ABM) for a financial services role with a path to Branch Manager. The position is 100% onsite and includes an 18–24 month paid, on-the-job training program covering branch management. Promotion to Branch Manager typically requires relocation; a full relocation package is provided for moves of more than 50 miles.

The ABM helps customers meet their financial goals by identifying lending needs, recommending consumer loan and voluntary insurance products, explaining lending services and options for improving credit or consolidating debt, assisting with loan applications, and making payment reminder calls when needed. The role also supports branch operations and management, including assessing loan applications, risk analysis, credit decisions, loan closings, insurance claims, recruiting and training, and executing plans to achieve sales goals and provide a strong customer experience.

Compensation is a $45,000 annual salary paid hourly, plus an uncapped monthly bonus that averages $8,000 annually. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; college seniors able to work 20 hours per week may be considered in some locations.
• Professional demeanor, positive attitude, strong communication skills, and customer relations skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced environment and successfully navigate priorities.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, auto insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.
• Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background and credit history and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be eligible for insurance licensing to sell voluntary insurance products; eligibility is based on a criminal background check conducted by the state's department of insurance.
• Willingness and ability to relocate for promotion to Branch Manager.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of customer-facing sales experience, such as retail sales or goal-oriented, incentive-based sales; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to originate new loan business by listening to customers and understanding their needs.
• Recommend consumer loan and voluntary product solutions to customers.
• Educate customers about consumer lending services, including ways to improve credit and consolidate debt.
• Assist customers with the loan application process and make payment reminder calls when needed.
• Evaluate loan applications and perform risk analysis.
• Make credit decisions, administer loan closings, and process insurance claims.
• Assist the Branch Manager with recruiting and training.
• Help develop and implement plans to meet sales goals, promote company core values, and ensure an outstanding client experience.
