About The Position

As an Assistant Branch Manager (ABM), you help drive business growth, client outcomes, and team performance within your local market. Partnering with the Branch Manager, you support strategy execution to expand relationships, grow assets, and increase market impact, using sound judgment and data-driven decisions to influence branch results. You will step into a highly collaborative environment where leadership, coaching, and client engagement are at the core of the role. You will work closely with branch leadership and peers to deepen client relationships, enhance team performance, and deliver a consistent Schwab experience. Your ability to actively listen, communicate effectively, and adapt your approach will enable you to navigate complex client and employee needs while driving outcomes. The ABM role provides a strong foundation for growth, with a clear path to a Branch Manager position within a 3 year trajectory. As you grow in the role, you will expand your ability to lead teams, drive business outcomes, and influence broader organizational success. Requirements

  • A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license required
  • Currently hold or obtain the FINRA Series 66 (or Series 63/65) license
  • Currently hold or obtain the FINRA Series 9 and 10 (or Series 8) licenses
  • Currently hold or obtain the Life and Health Insurance license
  • Relevant financial services experience, including client acquisition, relationship growth, and demonstrated industry knowledge, with exposure to business development or leadership activities preferred
  • Ability to coach, develop, and support a team of professionals by providing clear expectations, actionable feedback, and ongoing performance guidance
  • Applies a structured approach to performance management that drives engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Demonstrates openness to learning, feedback, and new challenges while continuously building leadership and business capabilities
  • Adapts approach based on evolving client needs, market conditions, and business priorities
  • Uses active listening to understand client and employee needs, ensuring thoughtful responses and tailored solutions
