About The Position

The Assistant Branch Manager – Float drives a sales and service culture in the Credit Union by providing superior leadership and operational support across multiple branch locations. This role focuses on coaching and motivating float staff to deliver exceptional member experiences while hitting key targets for new business development, referrals, and member relationship retention. Beyond float team leadership, this role will serve as a strategic partner to the AVP/Retail Sales & Service Manager, assisting with reporting and project management to ensure organizational goals are met.

Requirements

  • Availability to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:45am – 5:15pm and rotating Saturdays 9:00am – 1:00pm floating between multiple branch locations in our Minnesota regions; exempt.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Business Administration or related, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in banking and/or a sales position promoting products and services.
  • Previous supervisory experience or proven leadership skills.
  • Knowledge and proven abilities in outside and inside sales.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, maturity, and good judgment.
  • Excellent customer service and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive professional appearance and attitude.
  • Ability to work in a complex, fast-paced, competitive, and rapidly changing environment with variable stress levels.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization and delegation skills.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products and the ability to quickly learn and apply new systems and technologies.
  • Availability to work various hours and locations as needed.
  • A reliable vehicle/transportation for local travel and a valid driver’s license.
  • Required to be compliant with the terms and conditions outlined in TruStone Financial’s SAFE Act Policy, which includes the submission of fingerprints, the successful completion of an FBI background check and maintaining current and compliant registration in Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
  • Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and various background checks.
  • Regular and reliable attendance at the workplace.
