26 - Assistant Boys Wrestling Coach
About The Position
Pueblo School District 60 is hiring an Assistant Boys Wrestling Coach at Central High School. Employees are expected to support the district’s mission of providing a high-quality education and to embrace its values, including student success, collaboration, integrity, diversity, equity, dignity, respect, and student well-being. The position is paid according to the Teacher - Extra Duty Salary Schedule listed in the PEA Agreement. Non-teaching applicants hired for a high school coaching vacancy must complete the applicable CHSAA coaching registration requirements and may not coach until registration is completed and verified.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old at the time of hire.
- Applicants must provide a current resume.
- Applicants must complete the current-year CHSAA Online Coaches Test.
- Applicants must have an NFHS Concussion Certificate or a certificate of completion for an in-person concussion course.
- Applicants must have current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
- Non-teaching applicants hired for a high school coaching vacancy must register for applicable CHSAA one-year and/or permanent coaching registration; they cannot coach until registration requirements are completed and verified.
Nice To Haves
- Previous coaching experience and/or successful participation in athletics at the high school or collegiate level.
- Previous playing experience in wrestling.
