About The Position
Our Beverage Departments feature beer, wine and coffee selections from around the world and from our local neighborhoods allowing us to provide an exceptional assortment of options to our customers! We are seeking a knowledgeable, cultured and passionate teammate to join our Beverage Department as an Assistant Beverage Manager.
Requirements
- Experience with and knowledge of beer and wine
- Open availability which would include evenings and weekends

- Ordering and merchandising experience
Responsibilities
- Assisting customers in selection and recommendations
- Helping with quarterly inventory and meeting sales goals while controlling overall expenses
- Maintaining positive customer and employee relations
- Assisting in the training and development of department employees
- Keeping current and continually expanding knowledge of beer, wine, and coffee
- Organizing, stocking and facing Beverage Department
- Checking in deliveries/logging of all invoices daily
- General cleaning and maintenance of sales area, floor, spot mop, shelving, grinders, bins, signs and coolers
- Accurately prepare customer orders in a prompt and courteous manner.
