Assistant Banquet Manager
About The Position
The Assistant Banquet Manager at Springfield University Plaza will be responsible for executing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) for meetings and social events, ensuring they run smoothly. This role involves coordinating with vendors and internal departments to deliver seamless events from setup to completion. The Assistant Banquet Manager will support departmental goals by managing inventory, costs, and schedules, and will supervise banquet staff, ensuring all tasks are completed, service is polished, and team morale remains high. Additionally, this position will step in for the Banquet Manager as needed and assist with hiring, training, and daily team leadership.
Requirements
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to lift 50 lbs and stay on your feet during busy shifts.
- Flexible schedule availability.
