Requirements

Previous experience in banquet, catering, or event management preferred
Strong leadership and team supervision skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards in food service
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or related degree is a plus
Proficiency with event management or POS software preferred

Responsibilities

Assist the Banquet Manager in coordinating and overseeing all banquet events, ensuring smooth execution from setup to cleanup
Supervise banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and set-up crews, to maintain high standards of service
Collaborate with clients and event planners to understand their needs and deliver customized event experiences
Ensure all banquet areas are prepared and maintained according to hotel standards and safety regulations
Monitor event timelines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during events
Manage inventory and supplies for banquet functions, including food, beverages, and equipment
Support staff training and development to uphold service excellence
Assist in administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and maintaining event documentation
