About The Position

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is currently looking for a talented part-time Assistant Bread Baker. We are looking for an individual who is as passionate about food quality, customer service, community & as we are! In the role of Assistant Bread Baker, you will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team who will offer a unique menu selection of artisan, sweet, & seasonal breads all baked with honest, whole ingredients.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, & federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards.

Nice To Haves

Large-scale baking/pastry experience (preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right person!)
Formal baking/pastry education is a bonus!

Responsibilities

Follow recipes and pay close attention to details to create one-of-a-kind breads.
Lift large amounts of dough, flour, and other supplies weighing 50 lbs. plus.
Stand, lift, and mix as a daily requirement.
Work through change and be flexible while keeping a close eye on what's cooking.
Work afternoons/nights. Bread Baking shifts start around 11 am - 7 pm, plus a shift on Sunday (when the store is closed). During holiday seasons the Bread Baking team schedule may flex into overnight shifts too.
