About The Position

The Integrative Medicine & Wellness Service (IMWS) in the Division of Supportive and Acute Care Services, Department of Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a full-time faculty member at the Assistant Attending level for clinical service and investigation with a focus on integrative medicine. Established in 1999, the IMWS at MSK is an international leader in research and clinical care dedicated to advancing the science and practice of integrative medicine to improve quality of life and clinical outcomes for all patients. Our IMWS faculty are expected to: Pioneer research in symptom science, exercise oncology, and care delivery. Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines that have helped establish integrative medicine as a standard component of cancer care. Work with individual patients to develop appropriate plans that include lifestyle modifications, non-pharmacological interventions (e.g. acupuncture, meditation), as well as herbs and supplements when appropriate.

Requirements

  • Graduated from an ACGME-accredited residency program
  • Superb clinical and interpersonal skills
  • Rigorous clinical or health services research training.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in internal medicine or family medicine.
  • Eligibility for licensure in New York and New Jersey.
