Final salary placement is commensurate with experience, internal equity, and budget considerations This is a full-time, benefited, exempt, 12 month pay plan, regular position with a one-year probationary period in the Department of Athletics. Position Summary: Under the lead work direction of the Head Athletic Trainer, and the general supervision of the Athletic Director, the Athletic Trainer I follows established guidelines and procedures in providing the full range of clinical athletic training functions for student-athletes during training and competition, in accordance with the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) and National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) guidelines. The Athletic Trainer I also provides injury prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation for athletic injuries and assists in coverage of athletic practices and contests, including evening and weekend assignments and travel with teams.
