About The Position

The Department of Athletics is seeking a highly motivated, dedicated professional for the position of Assistant Athletic Trainer. This full-time, twelve-month position will coordinate medical care and comprehensive athletic training services and other duties as assigned; perform administrative duties as assigned; maintain comprehensive records of athletic injuries and treatments, formulate effective therapeutic treatment and rehabilitation plans; make referrals to interact regularly with team physicians, coaching, and administrative staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• NATA/BOC certification required
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification required
• Eligible for an Illinois state license
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Demonstrate sensitivity to cultural differences
• Proficiency with computer applications and general office software
• Knowledge of and adherence to NCAA, Missouri Valley Conference rules and regulations
• Willingness to embrace and model the mission and core values of Bradley Athletics
• Willing and able to work irregular hours and weekends
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
