About The Position

The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for an Assistant Athletic Trainer to assist in delivering athletic training services to assigned Florida Gators Gymnastics and Spirit Squad. Other duties include providing coverage for the athletics training facility, overseeing athletic training students, and traveling overnight as required by the sport. This position requires the incumbent to be highly organized; have a positive attitude; have strong verbal and written communication skills; work independently and as part of a collaborative team; engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds; and work a non-standard work week which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays, and overnight team travel. This is a Transition-to-Practice position that is ideal for new graduates and provides a high level of mentorship and support. This posting will close at end of business day on July 20, 2026.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited Certified Athletic Training Program by the start date
BOC Certification and Florida Licensure eligible within 30 days of hire
Current American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA) Certification
Valid driver's license

Responsibilities
