About The Position

We are looking for someone to serve as an assistant athletic director with roles in both middle school and high school. Coaching experience is preferred, and some coaching roles may be part of the job. A more complete job description will be provided during the interview process.

Requirements

Must have a relationship with the Lord that includes an active membership in a local church.
Must be morally upright in public and personal life.
Must support and teach the core beliefs held by the school.
Must lead in dress, conduct, attitude, and intellectual pursuit.
Must maintain a classroom environment that models Christ-like interaction and positively promotes student development while inspiring a love of learning.
Must understand that as ambassadors for Christ, students are his or her first ministry.
Must use innovative teaching methods, implementing critical thinking strategies.
Lessons will contain hands-on, interactive activities incorporating technology using both iPads, laptops, and the Promethean Board.
Instruction and assessment will be differentiated to challenge each student appropriately.
Must conscientiously provide accommodations to students with identified learning challenges in consultation with the school’s learning specialist.
Must find ways to educate all children.
Must participate in professional development activities that foster this responsibility.
Must consistently communicate expectations and progress to students and parents.
Must proficiently use Renweb as a tool to track attendance, document behavior, and post lesson plans and grades.
Must participate and initiate collaborative efforts between teachers of all departments.
Must support and participate in school-wide activities, particularly those pertaining to their students’ involvement.
