About The Position

The University of Louisiana Monroe invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Psychology and Graduate Program Coordinator. This is a face-to-face position that involves regular, daily interaction with students, faculty, and university staff. The role balances reduced teaching responsibilities with substantial administrative coordination for our graduate psychology programs.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Psy. D. in Psychology from an American University
• Familiarity with advanced statistics and quantitative methods
• History of peer-reviewed research and publications

• background or specialization in forensic psychology

Responsibilities

• Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses across a variety of topics, including advanced statistics and forensic psychology.
• Experienced both online and face-to-face teaching, including large classes
• Maintaining an active presence on campus to support student learning, advising, and professional mentorship.
• Manages an online and face-to-face graduate program of approximately 150 students with rolling admissions throughout the year.
• Overseeing all graduate admissions, student coordination, academic advising, directing master’s theses, and recruitment and career preparation activities.
